“That is the moment I am really drawn to, just before the person really lets down their guard. It is the time when there is still an awkward awareness that they are being watched, but there is also a willingness to reveal something of themselves or the person they are trying to be. I like that tension, when it feels like the person is aware of their own persona and the part they are trying to play.”
